Frequently asked questions

1. Why does it take 6 weeks for my order to be despatched?   I make the bowls around a busy, full-time job and Chow Bella is very much a cottage industry with only one person making the bowls. Due to the (thankfully) high popularity of the bowls, there is therefore a waiting list in place.

2. Are the bowls dishwasher safe?  Unless your bowl has Swarovski crystals, it is dishwasher safe. Bella's bowl has been through the dishwasher on numerous occasions over the last 18 months and is still in very good condition.

3. My bowl has arrived damaged - what should I do? Contact Chow Bella as soon as possible stating the problem. If a bowl has been damaged in transit, I will remake it free of charge but will need a decent photograph showing the bowl still with its wrapping so that I can claim compensation from Royal Mail.

4. There's a problem with my bowl, what should I do? Contact Chow Bella as soon as possible stating the problem and we can then work towards resolving it as quickly as possible.

5. Do you ship the bowls outside the UK? Yes, I ship to Europe, Aus, NZ and USA.

6. Do you use lead-free colours and glazes? Yes - I use Amaco Lead-free Velvet underglazes in conjunction with a lead-free glaze so that all the bowls are food safe. Please contact me if you would like further information.
